I received by Bachelor's degree in Animal Psychology from the University of California, Davis.

I graduated from California State University, Hayward with my Master's degree in Educational Psychology. During my 3,000 hours of required internships, I worked at a number of agencies to acquire a broad knowledge base. This included crisis work, teenage pregnancy, drug and alcohol treatment and domestic violence.

I started my private practice in 1995 as an intern and was licensed in 1997 after completing my internship and passing the written and oral exams. I currently work with individuals, couples and families and facilitate several groups.
