"Grief crosses all boundaries. Among people who are suffering the loss of a loved one, barriers come down. To be among others who are sharing a similar loss; to learn from others about the process of grief and to hear from them the ways in which their lives could be made less troublesome or painful; is a great gift. Other survivors who have gone before us have tremendous knowledge, support, and comfort to share."

Excerpt from "A Time to Grieve" by Carol Staudacher

I have been facilitating support groups for men and women undergoing the loss of an intimate relationship for 7 years.

The focus of our time together is on coping with all of the challenges experienced in the ending of a relationship. Members share their experiences and learn tools to help manage this life altering event. The opportunity to hear how other people are coping is often a very healing experience. The ending of a relationship often results in a lonely time in one's life where extra support can make a huge difference. I have witnessed people who come together as strangers, frightened and extremely vulnerable who go on to leave group with a new sense of self and direction. It is an honor to witness the transformation and healing power of everyone working together.

  • JOIN with others during this incredibly painful and confusing time.
  • GAIN clarity on your wants and needs
  • FIND ways to transform the emotional upheaval into wisdom and self-understanding.

I offer co-ed groups, as well as groups for women only, throughout the year.

I limit the number of participants to a maximum of  5 to allow time for individual exploration and sharing.

I meet with everyone prior to accepting them into the group to see if it is a suitable match, at which time I ask for an initial 12-week commitment. Members usually choose to stay quite a bit longer, however the length is optional after 3 months.

Please call me if you have any questions or if you would like to meet and discuss the possibility of joining a group.

I can also offer individual counseling for additional support.
